TEMPORARY HIATUS

Hello members and guests of Separate Ways,

I come to you with both disappointing and exciting news: Separate Ways is going to be placed into hiatus. Disappointing, of course, because it means that we won't be able to play on there for awhile. Exciting because when we return we'll have a fresh plot and more adventures.

After returning from my vacation, I pondered the move long and hard before deciding that this is the best move for the board. There are several wrinkles that need to be ironed out with the board's layout, and I do believe it's going to take some time. With the lack of activity that struck the board, I realized that the time for a change is here and now.

Firstly, I want to thank you all for being fantastic members. I had loads of fun while it was running, and I hope that you will all return when I get the board back on its feet.

Secondly, I am planning to rearrange a lot of the plot and we may end up starting over new. There are a few issues with people going inactive and other people being abandoned in their threads. I need to rework the system in order to make it more efficient.

Thirdly, I want your feedback. Yes, I do. Unfortunately I'm going to turn the board offline and remove the cbox because we'll get spammed if I don't, but you are free to contact me, December, Esq, at RPG-D (www.rpg-directory.com) with any new ideas. I would love to hear from you.

Finally, it's time to shamelessly plug my other board, Will to Live. It's a boarding school RP, but unlike many high school RPs out there, this one is fun, fresh, and exciting. (C'mon, how many high school RPs have earthquakes?) Creative, though realistic, characters are encouraged. Of course the administration and moderating team is laid-back, and fun is our number one priority.

I tell you this because I don't want to stop RPing with you guys. You're all awesome.

At any rate, thanks for being so fantastic. I wish you the best of luck in life and your RPing careers, and I hope to bring Separate Ways back as soon as possible.
